Recruitment Hack #73 - People Buy From You, Not Companies
People buy people, not companies.
It is the hiring manager or the HR manager who buys from you. It is not XYZ Corporation. That person will probably still buy from you if they move to another company.
The reason is they have bought into you. So what you want to do is develop numerous contacts at a company because those people move on, and when they move on, the way the company procures recruitment may change.
So by developing multiple contacts, you increase your chances of sales in that company, but, when Dave moves from XYZ Corp to ABC, he may be on the phone to get you involved with recruitment there. So develop multiple contacts.
It helps with business development now and potentially in the future.
